Julia Ciesielska

Julia Ciesielska (she/her) is native of Poland and a graduate of Ballet School in Gdańsk. In 2024, she performed in R.O.S.E. by Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar with L-E-V dance company. While at Juilliard, she danced in works by Medhi Walerski, Yue Yin, Johannes Wieland, Shen Wei, Sidra Bell, and Caili Quan. She has participated in Juilliard Choreographers and Composers ‘22, Senior Production ‘25, and was selected for Juilliard Choreographic Honors in 2023 and 2024. She has been honored with several awards from the Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage. In 2023, she received the first-place award in the Polish Choreographic Competition, ZAiKS. Julia is endlessly grateful to her family and friends for their unwavering support and looks forward to her future in dance.
